Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Projects team. You will own the delivery of electronic security installations from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, coordinating site engineers and subcontractors while liaising with clients and consultants.

Based around Guilford, Farnborough and Reading, the role supports our enterprise security solutions and requires travel to customer sites. Competitive salary with benefits offered by the group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership from mobilisation through commissioning, testing and handover.
• Coordinate installation activities and supervise on-site engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure works meet company standards and relevant industry codes.
• Configure CCTV, access control and integrated security systems and lead fault diagnosis.
• Manage project resources and documentation, including RAMS and as-built records.
• Travel to customer sites as required to support delivery.
