Job summary

Companies House in Cardiff seeks a Security Operations DevSecOps Engineer to design, build and maintain security infrastructure across AWS and Azure, and to develop and manage IaC with Terraform. You will build secure CI/CD pipelines, engineer Sentinel integrations, and drive improvements across Security Operations.

The role focuses on automating detection, monitoring, and response, while collaborating with analysts and engineering teams to deliver scalable security solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience building secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and telemetry integrations.
• Experience data pipelines for security telemetry.
• Experience monitoring and securing security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain security infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Engineer and support Microsoft Sentinel, including data connectors, integrations and automation.
• Develop integrations and data pipelines that collect, process and route security telemetry.
• Create automated solutions to improve monitoring, investigation and response activities.
• Monitor, maintain and enhance the reliability, resilience and security of security platforms and services.
• Work closely with Security Operations analysts and engineering teams to develop scalable detection and monitoring solutions.
• Take technical ownership of security engineering initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the Security Operations capability.

Job description

As a Security Operations DevSecOps Engineer, you will:
