Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Security Analyst to join the Technology team, protecting a professional services organisation from evolving cyber threats. You’ll monitor threats, respond to incidents and help improve our security posture across the tech estate.

With experience in Security Operations or Information Security, you’ll work on Microsoft Defender, SIEM, and vulnerability activities while progressing your technical expertise in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security or Information Security.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender or similar endpoint protection.
• Experience in Security Operations and Incident Response.
• Experience with SIEM monitoring and security investigations.
• Experience with email security platforms such as Mimecast or Proofpoint.
• Experience with Secure Web Gateway technologies such as Zscaler.
• Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, Security+ or Microsoft Security Operations are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threats and investigate security alerts across the organisation.
• Respond to cyber security incidents and support remediation activities.
• Manage and optimise security tools including Microsoft Defender and other platforms.
• Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security audits.
• Assist with implementing new security technologies and improvements.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues on security processes and technologies.
• Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats and recommend improvements.
