Job summary

Warehousingsolutions is seeking a Security Officer to start this month at Liverpool Airport. Permanent role with day, night and weekend shifts available. A £3,000 joining bonus is paid in July, with choice of day or nights + weekends.

Day shifts run 8am–6pm or 8am–8pm (£19.50/hr); night shifts 8pm–8am (£22.50/hr); weekends/overtime £25.50/hr. Weekly pay Friday; 45–60 hrs/week guaranteed. Key responsibilities include patrolling and securing, monitoring CCTV, controlling access, responding to

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious activity.

• Ability to patrol, stand for extended periods and handle physical situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling access by logging entries/exits and restricting restricted areas.
• Responding to alarms, investigating incidents and addressing safety concerns.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting and documenting incidents and irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
