Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer for a high-profile site in Telford. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access, responding to alarms, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter threats.

You will work 36 hours per week with a mix of days, nights and weekends, supported by induction, training and opportunities for progression into supervisory roles. A valid SIA licence and eligibility for SC clearance are required.

Formación

• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce site-specific security protocols and procedures
• Carry out internal and external patrols regardless of weather
• Ensure all personnel and vehicles entering the site are authorised
• Monitor health and safety hazards and elevate concerns
• Conduct bag, vehicle, or personnel searches if required
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Keep up-to-date records for all security activity and handovers
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and visitors professionally
• Support lock/unlock duties, key management, and access control logs
• Attend regular briefings and refresher training sessions
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
