Job summary

Northern Security Ltd in the Workington area is recruiting a Security Officer for a full-time contract. The role requires a driving licence and your own transport to access multiple sites, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.45.

You will provide an onsite professional security presence, deter crime, protect customers, property and staff, and perform patrols, open/close, and response to alarms. Strong communication and self-motivation are essential, with flexibility for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be smart and presentable.
• Polite and approachable.
• Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord.
• Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Flexible for work shifts.
• Able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening.
• Must have a driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Providing an onsite professional security presence.
• Deterrent to criminal activity, theft and antisocial behaviour.
• Provide protection for customers, property and staff.
• Internal and external site patrols.
• Open and lock ups, site patrols and visual checks and response to alarm calls.
• Concierge duties.
