Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly capable SIA licensed Security Officer to safeguard staff and visitors on site. You will enforce access control, lead site inductions and conduct regular patrols as part of a 4 on 4 off nights schedule (19:00–07:00).

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor license is essential.
• Experience with CCTV and access control is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external security patrols across the site.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, escalating where required.
• Complete routine security, safety and environmental checks.
• Secure offices, meeting rooms and external access points.
• Monitor site activity and investigate unusual occurrences.
• Manage out-of-hours deliveries and maintain records.
• Complete electronic incident reports and shift handovers.
• Monitor security communications and respond to enquiries as required.
• Follow all security procedures and assignment instructions.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff & visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned & ad-hoc site patrols together with other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.

You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off nights only rotation. Shifts will be 19:00 - 07:00.

What you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Door Supervisor License - essential
• Experience using CCTV and access control systems - desirable
• Previous high end corporate experience
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
