Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer in Bridgwater. You will deliver professional security services, protect people and property, and maintain high standards of customer service on site.

The role includes gatehouse duties, visitor management and access control, with a requirement for a valid SIA licence. You must be flexible to work 4 on/4 off shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience in gatehouse or access control environments
• Wlexibility to work days, nights and weekends
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, contractors and delivery drivers
• Conducting regular security patrols and monitoring site access
• Managing gatehouse operations, visitor bookings and access control
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms and security equipment and responding to incidents
• Supporting health and safety procedures and site evacuations
• Preventing crime, loss, and disruption through vigilance
• Completing accurate incident reports and shift handovers
• Ensuring compliance with site regulations and customer requirements
