Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection are seeking an experienced Security Officer for a Distribution Centre in the Wansford area (PE4 6NB). The role covers visitor management, incident reporting, alarms, and patrolling across a day shift from 06:00 to 18:00.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA DS or SG licence, provide a 5-year history, and can work independently. In-house training is provided along with IPSA membership and enhanced bank holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA DS or SG licence.
• Full 5 year checkable work/education history.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Knowledge of security systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and maintain high visibility.
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Dealing with contractors.
