Job summary

Securitas UK is recruiting a Security Officer for a high-profile site in Great Baddow. You will patrol the site, control access, monitor alarms and respond to incidents to keep staff and visitors safe.

We offer a paid induction, ongoing training, a professional uniform and equipment, and support with Security Clearance where required. You will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors and play a key role in safeguarding people and property.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills with the ability to complete accurate reports.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external patrols.
• Monitor access to the site.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate security records.

Job Description

Pay: £14.56 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift pattern: Days, nights and weekends
Location: Great Baddow
Overtime: May be available but is not guaranteed

We are looking for a professional, reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile site in Great Baddow.

You will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the site, carrying out patrols, managing access and responding appropriately to incidents. You will also act as a professional first point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors.

This role requires you to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

To be eligible you must:

• Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
• Be able to provide a full five-year employment, education or activity history
• Successfully complete the required vetting and background checks
