Job description

We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to work for our client based in Wolverhampton, WV5 area.

The purpose of the role is to manage people and vehicle access / egress on the client site, operate CCTV systems to ensure compliance with the CME CCTV policy

Responsibilities

• Asset management (monitor CME alarm & CCTV systems, book bulk delivery / collection vehicles onto the weighbridge pc system, collate DA notes, issue company keys to authorised persons)
• People and vehicle control
• Product integrity (monitor CME CCTV systems, complete documentation & seal / temp checks)
• Front of house – covering reception when needed
• Inputting data into in house CRM system
• To fully understand the importance of safe working practices and procedures related to all areas of their work and be fully aware of the required safety equipment needed to perform his / her tasks and how equipment should be used
• Communication (operate switchboard / hot line / emergency radio & phone, monitor lone workers).
• Updating daily records and records logs

Requirements / Ideal Candidate

• Full understanding of security procedures.
• Flexibility in relation to business needs.
• Good communication skills – Good phone manner, meeting public, visitors, auditors, contractors etc.
• Will be required to wear appropriate PPE on a daily basis.
• High level of safety awareness.
• Trained to complete waste water treatment testing

Hours of work / pay rate

• Working shifts are between Monday to Sunday, with flexibility to cover some holiday shifts, (days, nights, weekends and bank holidays)
• 12 hour shifts – 7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am
• £17.48 per hour
