Join us and help deliver the exceptional, every day. Contract: Permanent; Hours: 42hrs p/w; Pay: £13.32 p/h; Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off; Days and Nights; Location: Clarks Village, Somerset, BA16 0BB.

At Clarks Village, we are offering a position to the right candidate to join our security officer team. You will work both day and night shifts on a 42hr per week contract. Responsibilities

• Working to strict Health and Safety procedures and legislation.
• Upholding and complying with site AI's, UK legislation and Regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, guests and contractors.
• Representing yourself with high levels of hygiene and presentation.
• Completing effective and efficient handovers when starting and ending shifts.
• Locking and unlocking the centre.
• Regular patrols following use of CAFM systems.
• Mandatory use of reporting equipment (e.g., pocket notebooks, BWCs, key handling, radio use).
• Evacuation marshal responsibilities.
• Building relationships and assisting with brand partners in crime stopping procedures.
• Building professional relationships with local police and PCSOs.
• Diffusing anti-social behaviour on centre premises.
• Providing first aid on site where necessary.

Skills and Experience / Qualifications

• The following skills and experience are preferred but not mandatory: SIA Door Supervisor accreditation (CCTV desirable).
• IOSH trained.
• Good articulation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, guests and contractors.
• The ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Excellent time management and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Clean enhanced DBS record.

To be successful in this role you will need the ability to communicate and read basic English. Previous security experience is desirable but not essential. You should have a flexible approach to the role and be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You will need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
