Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, ensuring a safe environment by monitoring fire, security and building systems. The role involves regular patrols, incident recording and quick response to emergencies while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA licence, have the right to work in the UK, and demonstrate strong communication, reliability and professional conduct on site.

About The Role:

WILL COVER SICKNESS AND HOLIDAYS ACROSS 2 GATEHOUSES. MAY BE COME PERMANENT WITH RIGHT CANDIDATE

As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have the right to work in the UK
• Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
• SIA licence is essential

• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
