• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or education.
• Ability to provide documentary evidence of employment or education for the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor.
• Safely detain offenders following H&S training.
• Utilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gates.
• Collaborate with covert security operatives.
• Investigate losses and support inquiries about known offenders.
• Complete accurate incident reports and company documentation.
• Report crime incidents using a company-provided tablet.
• Conduct routine patrols to ensure customer safety.
• Record patrols in daily activity sheets.
• Provide security updates during store briefings.
• Conduct shift handovers to ensure service continuity.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all.

Retail Security Officer - Lidl- Branksome Poole

Location: Branksome, Poole Road (BH12 1DQ)

Position: 19 hours per week, overtime available for holiday/absence cover

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday and Tuesday Day shifts
