We’re Hiring: Security Officer
Location: Newport
Pay: £17.07 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off (day & night shifts)

What We’re Looking For
  • Valid SIA licence
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of access control systems
  • Computer literate – able to use basic IT systems
  • Polite, courteous, and professional
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Conduct regular safety and security patrols
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Support emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches
  • Stay vigilant, report incidents, and prevent disruption
  • Accurately maintain records of all activity and handovers
