Bally's Security Officers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our casino environment. Their primary responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service while minimising risk.

Our Security Officers must demonstrate exceptional people management skills, as well as strong negotiation and communication abilities. They are tasked with creating a friendly and safe atmosphere within the casino, catering to the needs and concerns of our valued customers. By upholding the highest standards of security and customer service, Bally's Security Officers are integral to the overall success and reputation of our organisation, their dedication and expertise contribute greatly to the positive experience our guests have when visiting our casino.

Please note, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide an exceptional gaming experience for our valued guests. This means that as a member of our team, you may be required to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.

So, what will you be doing?
  • Creating a friendly and safe Bally’s Casino environment and minimising risk to employees, customers, and company assets and reputation.
  • Identifying potential risk and discretely reporting to the appropriate managers.
  • Supporting the operations in emergency situations and providing first aid when required.
  • Demonstrating full understanding of operating licence conditions; Gaming licence entry conditions, Gaming licence entry conditions, liquor licence conditions, SIA licencing conditions, operating licence conditions.
  • Liaising with Duty Managers and appointed security management personnel on duty in relation to all security incidents.
  • Adhering to body cam and body cam audio usage conditions.
  • Actioning Challenge 25 knowledge when appropriate.
  • Producing timely submitted accurate and legible statements/reports following incidents.
  • Using initiative in proactively escalating and communicating risks
And what are we looking for?
  • Be a professional, approachable, proactive ambassador of the importance of keeping customers and staff members safe within the casino.
  • Possess Valid SIA Doors Supervisor Licence holder with knowledge of SIA legislative requirements.
  • Have excellent understanding of compliance and security issues.
  • Possess security officer experience within a high pressured and high-volume environment.
  • Be a confident and articulate communicator with exceptional negotiation skills to diminish any opportunity for reactive risk.
  • Have exceptional people management; negotiation and communication skills to diminish any opportunity for reactive risk.
  • Be a dedicated team player with the ability to act on your own initiative.
