Are you a reliable and professional individual with a passion for safety and security? We're looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Ardagh, Knottingley. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our client, colleagues, and visitors, ensuring that site operations run smoothly at all times.

What you’ll do

• Ensure full compliance with SIA licence requirements and all site Assignment Instructions.
• Act as a professional first point of contact for all visitors at the Gatehouse.
• Control access and egress to the site, verifying all visitors and vehicles in line with site procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms, responding promptly and appropriately to any incidents.
• Maintain clear and professional communication via email, radio, and telephone at all times.

What you’ll bring

• Hold a valid SIA licence with a strong understanding of security procedures.
• Have previous experience working on a corporate or similar site environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Remain calm and professional under pressure, with good attention to detail and a smart appearance at all times.
