Mitie is seeking a Retail Security Officer to help keep our Prestwich store safe and welcoming. You will be responsible for protecting people and products, responding quickly to incidents, and delivering professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.

What We're Looking For

• Previous security experience is preferred
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, confident and professional approach
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe

Important Information

All candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history within the UK.
