Security Officer
Location: Diageo Broxburn, 18 Westerton Road, East Mains Industrial Estate, Broxburn EH52 5AQ
Working Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 42 hours per week
Salary: £13.10 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Driving Licence Required
SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Manned Guarding Licence Required

About the Role

At Sodexo, our onsite Security Officers play a key part in ensuring the safety of our client’s premises, staff, and visitors. Based at Diageo Broxburn, you’ll be responsible for delivering a professional and vigilant security presence, providing reassurance and protection in line with site procedures.

You’ll work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, supporting security operations across the site and maintaining high standards of professionalism, discretion, and customer service.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide visible and effective security at the site entrance and across designated areas.
• Monitor CCTV, conduct patrols, and complete access control procedures.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, escalating where appropriate.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Complete site documentation and reporting accurately.
• Work flexibly to support the wider security team where needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Manned Guarding Licence.
• Must be aged 18 or over (due to licensing requirements).
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
• Eligible to complete 5-year security vetting.
• Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
