Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of assigned areas to ensure a secure environment
  • Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies with appropriate action
  • Prepare detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur
  • Provide assistance and directions to employees and visitors as required
  • Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor activities
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with law enforcement when necessary
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
  • Possession of a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent observational and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional attitude and the ability to manage stress in emergency situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Physical fitness adequate to perform security duties effectively
  • ESSENTIAL: SIA Guarding (SG) or Door Supervisor (DS) Licence. A current and valid SIA CCTV Licence is desirable, or the willingness to work towards.
