Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Security Officer to be based at Lenham Storage in Andover. The role is full-time with a 50-hour weekly shift pattern (2 days, 3 nights, 2 days off).

Responsibilities include welcoming clients, operating CCTV and access control, and responding to incidents until help arrives. Key requirements include a valid SIA licence, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence and be approachable.
• Welcome clients and visitors; issue and manage IDs.
• Operate phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV and access control.
• Monitor suspicious activity and potential criminal behaviour.
• Record and report incidents to the Account Manager; coordinate with emergency services when needed.

Main Duties

• Maintain a professional presence: determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable

Person Specification
