What You’ll Be Doing

As an Installation & Commissioning Engineer you will:

  • Carry out high‑quality installations of intruder alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems in line with project specifications.
  • Liaise with customers, project managers and the wider ASEL team to ensure exceptional service and project outcomes.
  • Provide on‑site mentoring and leadership for trainee engineers.
  • Handle technical queries and communicate any site deviations or challenges effectively.
  • Complete all relevant documentation promptly after installation.
  • Support the implementation of ASEL’s industry‑leading information security policies and practices.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in security system installation (intruder, CCTV, access control).
  • Working knowledge of IP‑based systems and Galaxy Panels/Max Readers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PC literate with good reporting and documentation practices.
  • Strong team player and mentor, with the ability to lead and develop junior engineers.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and upholding our standards of excellence.
Desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 in Electronic Security Systems or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, customer‑focused field environment.
  • Exposure to networked and integrated security solutions.
