Our client, a global IT services company, seeks a Security Engineering Lead in Hampshire onsite five days per week. Eligibility for UK government security clearances and the right to work in the United Kingdom are required.

The role focuses on security architecture, DevSecOps integration with SAST/DAST/SCA, risk governance, and hands-on guidance to engineers in a high-security environment. The position demands IAM, zero-trust, and cloud security expertise (AWS/Azure), plus strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity and secure systems architecture.
• Technical security leadership with accreditors experience.
• Knowledge of NCSC guidelines.
• Cryptographic risk frameworks knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead security architecture design and implementation across cloud and hybrid infra.
• Oversee automated security scanning in pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning).
• Collaborate with accreditors and risk owners on security case approvals.
• Provide hands-on guidance on vulnerability remediation and secure coding.
• Apply secure networking, IAM, and zero-trust architectures.
• Work with cloud security postures (AWS / Azure).
• Lead IaC security and automated vulnerability management.
• Engage technical teams and military stakeholders with clear communication.
• Make decisive decisions under high-pressure deadlines.
• Maintain data protection and national security standards.
