Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in coding in Java.
• Experience in large corporate environments with modern languages and database querying languages.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (CI/CD, resilience, security).
• Knowledge of security applications and processes in cloud/AI/mobile contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable security systems using Java and Python to support product teams.
• Execute security software solutions with focus on quality and performance.
• Create secure production code and maintain algorithms that run with related systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for security applications.
• Develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets for continuous security improvements.
• Identify data patterns to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to security engineering communities of practice and events.
