Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking a Security Engineer for an immediate start in Leicester. The role covers installation, servicing and fault finding of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, intercoms and fire alarms in domestic settings with some commercial projects.

You will work with a range of systems, carry a company van and tools, and enjoy an emphasis on safety, customer service and tidy workmanship. A full UK driving license and based in or around Leicestershire are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault‑finding intruder alarm systems.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom and fire alarm systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must be based in or around Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and fault-find intruder alarms.
• Install and maintain CCTV systems.
• Set up and service access control systems.
• Install intercom and fire alarm systems.
• Work on domestic properties with some commercial projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per health and safety policies.

Qualifications – Essential

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault‑finding intruder alarm systems
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom and fire alarm systems

• Full UK Driving License
• Must be based in or around Leicestershire

Qualifications – Desirable

• Experience on a variety of sites from commercial to domestic
• IPAF certification
