Freightserve recruitment is seeking Security Drivers for a niche freight forwarder near Heathrow to handle high-value shipments in a secure, professional environment. You will follow strict procedures, perform pickups and deliveries, load/unload armored vehicles, and maintain vigilance.

References for last five years and a DBS check are required; overtime and weekend shifts at enhanced rates are available. This role requires integrity, strong attention to detail and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence.
• Having an SIA licence is desirable.
• Reliable with strong ethics and integrity.

Freightserve are looking to recruit Security Drivers for a niche sector Freight Forwarder that deals with high value shipments. The company will consider people with experience from driving 3.5Ton vehicles to HGV Class one vehicles. The company is based in the Heathrow area.

Security Drivers are required to work for a dynamic, customer focused environment and to ensure the protection of personnel and shipments for which the company is responsible.

This position requires strict following of rules and procedures to protect and safeguard the transports and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing pickups and deliveries of high value shipments
• Maintaining high standard of work at trade shows and special events
• Loading and unloading the armoured vehicle
• Ensuring safety and protection of assets at all times
• Providing an excellent level of customer service at all times
• Respecting and following the company's guidelines and procedures
• Driving an armoured vehicle and following road safety regulations
• Maintaining a high level of vigilance at all times
• Completing daily reports and check of the vehicle
• Carrying out other ad-hoc duties as requests

Key Skills / Requirements:

This role requires references to be provided for the last 5 years as well as a successful DBS check.

Hours are Monday - Friday (various start and finish times) Overtime opportunities available. Optional weekend work at enhanced rate
