We are looking for a Security Consultant to join our growing team of like‑minded tech people.

Reporting to the Lead Technical Consultant, the Security Consultant will play a key role in strengthening razorblue’s managed security services by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across client environments.

This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and compliance understanding. The consultant will perform security audits and vulnerability scans using industry‑standard tools (e.g. Nessus, Qualys, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint), identify risks, and remediate them using solutions such as NinjaRMM, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune.

They will also support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments and ensure that monthly vulnerability reports are accurate, up to date, and all issues are resolved in line with internal and client expectations.

Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:

Security Reports and Compliance (20%)
  • Perform detailed security assessments and vulnerability scans of customer environments using recognised industry tools.
  • Identify, document, and prioritise vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and compliance gaps.
  • Conduct or support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments in line with IASME and NCSC guidance.
  • Maintain and distribute monthly vulnerability reports, ensuring remediation actions are completed and verified.
Remediation and Hardening (60%)
  • Remediate vulnerabilities using NinjaRMM, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, or other approved tools.
  • Apply best‑practice hardening techniques across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Linux, and firewall environments.
  • Work collaboratively with the Security Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent patching and configuration management.
Customer Engagement (20%)
  • Attend customer meetings to present findings, advise on risk mitigation, and plan remediation activity.
  • Create and maintain project plans, change control records, and technical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and trust.

  • Security – Experience with MDM, MFA, Email filtering, Next generation firewalls & Anti‑Virus solutions, SIEM Solutions such as Sentinel
Skills:
