Arup is seeking a Security Consultant to join our Security Advisory stream within the Resilience, Security & Risk practice in the UKIMEA region. You will work with clients across transport, infrastructure, property and government to identify, assess and manage security risks.

You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams across transport, infrastructure, property and government to identify, assess and manage security risks. Typical activities will include delivering Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments and Security Needs Assessments, defining security requirements, developing holistic security strategies, supporting stakeholder engagement and project delivery, and contributing to new business opportunities and the development of our Security Advisory capabilities.
Is this role right for you?
We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise in security advisory services, supported by relevant qualifications in security risk management, political science, terrorism studies, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. You will combine technical excellence with commercial awareness, communicate complex concepts clearly and deliver high‑quality outcomes while managing programme, budget and client expectations.
