Job summary

LA International is seeking 8 QAT Engineers to join our public sector client’s team in a hybrid role across Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, or Newcastle. The position requires SC clearance and will involve leading quality assurance initiatives and automation testing to ensure secure, usable services.

Successful candidates will contribute to testing strategies, collaborate across diverse engineering roles, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high security standards.

Qualifications

• HTML, CSS and JavaScript/Node experience required.
• Security clearance and SC clearance eligibility emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Champion QAT across multiple teams, providing technical leadership and guidance.
• Drive collaboration across engineers of different roles to enable consistent solutions and strategies.
• Build automation test solutions to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
• Ensure usability, accessibility, security, and reliability in service development.
• Promote risk-based, context-driven agile testing and decision-making.
• Lead CI/CD adoption to run comprehensive tests and verify builds.
• Track testing progress and communicate status to stakeholders across teams.
• Share knowledge, mentor peers, and support internal communities.
