Job summary

SiXworks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead agile delivery of secure digital solutions for Defence and National Security missions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to ensure on-time, within-budget project outcomes.

You’ll apply a mix of structured and agile approaches (APMP, Prince2, Jira, Tempo, Scrum), manage risks and procurement, and travel occasionally to Herefordshire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as APMP, Prince2, or Agile Certification are advantageous.
• Strong project management, risk, and procurement management skills required.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Shape Up, and Kanban methodologies.
• Industry experience in UK Defence & Security is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery including forecasting, change management and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to ensure delivery.
• Oversee deliverables from cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources.
• Foster open communication to identify cross-team dependencies and risks early.
• Apply structured and agile methodologies in varying contexts (APMP, MSP, Jira, Tempo, Scrum).
• Provide contract, supplier, and cross-organisational dependency management.
• Occasional visits to Herefordshire.
