Job summary

Envitia is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Security and Intelligence consulting team. You will design, develop and deliver advanced analytics and ML capabilities within secure government environments.

The role involves large-scale data analysis, predictive modelling, NLP, and automated decision support to provide mission advantage. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to deploy analytics solutions that enable insight, with on-site work in London, Cheltenham or Manchester following

Qualifications

• Experience in secure or highly regulated environments handling sensitive data.
• Strong knowledge of modern data science and ML techniques.
• Proficiency with the Python data science ecosystem (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Experience with big data and distributed analytics platforms (Spark, Hadoop).
• Hands-on NLP, graph analytics and advanced analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions to analyse complex data.
• Build scalable data and AI/ML pipelines to support analytics and insights.
• Apply ML, statistics, deep learning, NLP and graph analytics to problems.
• Prepare, transform and integrate large multi-source datasets for modelling.
• Develop predictive models and proofs-of-concept for patterns and anomalies.
• Implement and validate models in production secure environments.
• Collaborate with data/ software engineers and platform teams to deploy solutions.
• Develop dashboards and analytical tools to communicate insights.
