Job summary

Entasis Partners is supporting a leading global Financial Services organisation in recruiting a Security Assurance Specialist. The role spans independent, pragmatic reviews across technology and cyber security, with exposure to senior technology leaders and Executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in information security or related fields, with strong risk management, analytical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundations across information security, cyber security and risk.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Scope and deliver security reviews across technology and cyber security.
• Assess security capabilities and controls against recognised frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS, NIST).
• Identify risks, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with engineering, tech and security teams to understand complex environments.
• Apply analytical techniques to assess security effectiveness.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Provide independent challenge and contribute to developing Security Assurance through automation and data analytics.
