Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a Security Architecture Consultant (Cryptography & Quantum Security) to help clients navigate cryptographic risk and migrate to quantum-safe solutions. The role combines security architecture with advisory work across PQC and cryptography, in a collaborative, client-facing setting.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, develop roadmaps, and contribute to transformation programmes while advancing your expertise in cryptography and quantum security.

Qualifications

• Applied cryptography, PKI, key management or related cybersecurity experience.
• Understanding of public key cryptography, certificates and trust services.
• Experience producing assessments, roadmaps and technical recommendations.

Experience with PQC standards, migration planning or cryptographic agility initiatives is beneficial but not required. We are equally interested in candidates with strong cryptography or security architecture backgrounds who are excited to develop specialist expertise in this area.

Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance.

All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
