Job summary

Pontoon Solutions is seeking a skilled Security Architect to help secure applications across our operational sites. This role combines remote work with occasional on-site presence in Warwick, UK.

You will lead security strategy, guide projects, and work with suppliers to manage cyber risks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in security architecture, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance and support to projects and programs.
• Define and own the security scope and architecture for various projects.
• Drive security requirements, architectures, patterns, and approaches.
• Advise development teams on security matters.
• Ensure solutions meet security requirements and manage risks.
• Remove impediments for delivery of security initiatives.
• Provide input as required by the security policy lead.
• Coordinate technical design and review activities within the Security team.
• Identify and address key risks and issues aligned with business needs.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Perform supply chain assurance for suppliers and review vendor contracts.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate cyber risks.
• Stay updated with latest cyber threats and recommend controls.
• Maintain documentation and reporting on security activities.

Job Purpose

As aSecurity Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of our information systems. Your expertise will help identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies. By providing guidance and support, you will contribute to our vision of being a world-leading Information Technology and Digital function in the energy sector.

What you'll do

• Providing security guidance and support to projects and programs.

• Driving security requirements, architectures, patterns, and approaches.
• Collaborating with development teams to advise and consult on security matters.
• Ensuring solutions comply with security requirements and managing risks.
