About the Role

Were seeking an experienced Security Architect with strong Cloud and DevSecOps expertise to join our team.

In this high-impact role, you will lead the definition and implementation of the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring solutions meet business needs, compliance requirements, and performance goals. Youll act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical teams, influencing architectural decisions, and embedding secure-by-design principles across the full delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the cloud security architecture and framework, aligned with organisational strategy and governance.
• Document and oversee the implementation of cloud security controls, ensuring smooth transition to managed operations.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple project teams, setting best practice and architectural standards.
• Design and deliver innovative cloud security solutions that align with enterprise cloud strategy.
• Conduct regular security assessments to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Lead training and awareness sessions to develop team capability in cloud security and DevSecOps best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance security posture.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Security Architect in complex, large-scale cloud environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in DevOps principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Security and Cloud Security Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git (advanced) and GitLab CI / CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and operating Managed Cloud Security Services.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
