Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Security Architect (DV cleared) for an initial 6-month on-site assignment in Erskine. You will lead design, build, and assurance of backend platforms and endpoint protection for air-gapped environments.

Key responsibilities include implementing endpoint security, defining patching and vulnerability management, producing formal documentation, and ensuring compliance with JSP 440/604/453, NCSC guidance, and the NIST framework.

Qualifications

Contract Security Architect - (DV Cleared)

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect for an initial 6-month contract based on-site in Erskine. You will lead the design, build, and assurance of backend platforms and endpoint protection capabilities within secure, offline (air-gapped) environments.

Contract Details

• Working Pattern: 5 days per week on-site in Erskine or 2 days in a week to Corsham, UK.
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35.
• Duration: Approximately 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement endpoint security solutions, AntiVirus/EDR capabilities, and platform controls for air-gapped systems.
• Define secure patching, vulnerability management, and data transfer mechanisms for disconnected networks.
• Produce formal technical documentation (HLDs, LLDs, SOPs) and Penetration Testing scopes.
• Ensure full compliance with UK security policies (including JSP 440, JSP 604, JSP 453), NCSC guidance, and the NIST framework.

Requirements

• Clearance: Must hold active, full transferable DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
• Sector Experience: Proven track record as a Security Architect or SME within Defence or highly classified UK government environments.
• Technical Domain: Hands‑on experience securing air‑gapped networks, endpoint tools, and vulnerability management platforms.
