Job summary

Delaney & Bourton is seeking a Security Architect to shape the enterprise security roadmap and ensure secure design across Microsoft platforms, cloud, and applications.

You will partner with the CISO and delivery teams to mature security architecture, balancing commercial priorities with risk and setting reusable standards across major programmes.

Are you a Security Architect with experience leading the secure adoption of Microsoft and AI centred technologies for large organisations?

We are working with a multi-£bn bluechip organisation who have an ambitious AI-enabled technology transformation roadmap ahead, to appoint their first dedicated Security Architect to ensure all solutions selection and design decisions have the appropriate security built in from the start.

Working closely with the CISO and Architecture team, you’ll play a key role in maturing the organisation’s Security Architecture capability, influencing both enterprise technology strategy and the design of solutions across major change programmes.

There is real scope to shape the function here: establishing standards, challenging design decisions and defining how security supports an ambitious technology roadmap.

The role:

• The ability to balance security requirements with commercial priorities and delivery.
• Confidence working with senior leaders while remaining close to the detail of solution design.
