Motability Operations Limited is offering a 12-month cyber security placement based in Bristol. You will explore various security areas while learning from experienced professionals and building practical skills alongside our Security teams.
We’re looking for curious, eager to learn and collaborative students in their second year, ready to start in July 2027, with a commitment to be in Bristol three days a week and occasional travel to London.

Curious - You’re interested in how technology works, what can go wrong and how organisations can protect themselves. You’re keen to explore different areas, learn about new technologies and understand new security challenges
Eager to learn - You want to build your cyber security knowledge and enjoy working through problems and analysing information. You’re comfortable asking questions and using what you learn to make informed decisions
Collaborative - You enjoy working with people from technical and non-technical backgrounds. You listen to different perspectives, share your own ideas and help create an inclusive team
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in cyber security and the enthusiasm to learn, explore and get involved. We’ll give you the support and experience to build your skills and discover where your interests could take you.
1) Application Stage -Submit your CV -Response to four questions
2) Video Assessment -One way video assessment -You will answer 5 questions by video response -You are given 6 days to complete your video assessment from when you receive your invitation
3) Virtual Interview -You will meet with one of our Early Careers Recruitment team -These interviews aim to take place between 12th to 13th November 2026
4) Assessment Centre -You will be invited to attend a final stage assessment centre, which typically involves an interview with the two assessors and an activity -The assessment centre is a whole day with us in our Bristol office -The assessment centre for this role is 4th December 2026 If you are successful at the Assessment Centre stage, you will be offered the role to begin Monday 5th July 2027.
