Job summary

Lyra International seeks a security professional to monitor events, investigate incidents, and support risk analyses. You will help shape security policies and ensure ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance across cloud and on-premises environments.

The role collaborates with IT and business units in London, with occasional off-hours for incidents. Applicants should have 2+ years in information security, and familiarity with Lyra infrastructure, ISO 27001, CIS, and data privacy laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles.
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Experience working with international companies is a plus
• Familiarity with Lyra International security infrastructure is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption, and content filtering
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and CIS
• Ability to assess risk and apply appropriate security measures
• Experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements
• BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
• Equivalent qualifications or relevant experience will also be considered
• Ability to attend meetings at the London-based office when requested
• May be required to work occasional off-hours during security incidents

Responsibilities

• Monitor system security events using current security technologies.
• Investigate security incidents and respond to contain and mitigate threats.
• Support vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Contribute to developing and improving security policies and procedures.
• Assist with compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to implement and audit security controls.
• Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.
• Prepare reports on security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders.
• Process incoming customer security assessment requests.
• Keep up to date with security trends, threats, and technology.
• Monitor networks for security breaches, implement security measures, and respond to incidents.
• Report to the Sr. Manager, International Security and IT.
