Job summary

Frontier Resourcing is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You’ll work with engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

You will develop Android Kotlin front-end apps, backend services in Rust/Python/Go, and containerize with Docker, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and contributing to code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Android Kotlin front-end development.
• Experience with backend languages such as Rust, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of MVVM, Web APIs, and data standards including OpenAPI.
• Experience with Docker for containerisation and deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
• Develop reliable applications in Kotlin Jetpack Compose for Android.
• Utilise GIT for version control, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration.
• Design and implement backend solutions using Rust, Python, or Go for robust services.
• Utilise Docker for containerisation to streamline deployment and consistency.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software development.
