Job summary

QUINTESSENTIAL BRANDS UK GROUP LTD in Spalding is seeking a proactive Section Leader/Team Leader to lead a production team, ensuring daily targets are met while upholding SHE practices and GMP standards. The role requires coordinating with shift teams, supervising performance, and ensuring data accuracy for reporting.

The successful candidate will drive root-cause analysis, lead daily meetings, and deputise for the Shift Manager when needed, while maintaining product quality and brand integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead production team within the section, ensuring they meet production planning and scheduling while identifying workflow inefficiencies.
• Ensure SHE practices are followed daily, maintain GMP standards and support environmental initiatives.
• Support daily targets through section meetings, guide the team through performance challenges and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
• Assist with performance management processes, conduct 1-1s, manage resource daily, and coordinate training requirements.
• Lead and participate in section and cascade meetings, communicate key information to team members and manage escalation.
• Deputise for Shift Manager during absences and maintain brand integrity for Worldwide Fruit and customer standards.

K ey Accountabilities:

To lead production team within section, ensuring they meet production planning and scheduling while identifying workflow inefficiencies. Running the day to day section production plan.

To ensure SHE practices are followed by self and team in section, working to best practice through daily safety walks, clean as you go adherence , GMP standards are continually maintained and supporting company environmental initiatives.

To support delivery of daily targets through section SIC meetings, leading team through performance challenges, ensuring all information and data is populated correctly and in full for data accuracy.

To support completion of performance management process, completing 1-1s, conducting disciplinary hearing up to verbal warning level, managing resource daily, providing feedback, organising release for training requirements and help team members explain their training needs.

To assist delivery of company projects through daily team check ins, gathering information and feedback as required from production operatives and leading by example.

To support delivery of quality standards through production team taking responsibility of product quality, ensuring clear communication of risks as they occur and any process amends required.

To lead section, SIC meetings and support daily cascade of key information to and from production team members, attending tiered meetings throughout shift ensuring the flow of escalation is adhered to.

To ensure clear escalation of performance concerns, identifying solutions and supporting improvement initiatives including weekly top loss CI delivery.

To be first point of escalation relating to order fulfilment challenges with in section, identifying solutions or escalating to manager if support needed, while coaching Line Leaders to problem solve where escalations are within their control.

To support customer activity, leading and engaging teams, ensuring daily communication of upcoming activity.

To deputise for Shift Manager during absence from the business.

To ensure brand integrity is maintained for Worldwide Fruit and our customers by following policies and procedures so the product meets the expected standard and specification. Ensuring that care and attention is dedicated to what we produce is to the best of our ability for all brands involved.

Requirements
