Pay Rate: £ 37,925 + Shift Premium + Over Time
Grade: M
Contract Type: Secondment 6 months | 6 Months FTC
Shift patterns: Rotational shifts | 4 on,4 Off | 18:00-6:00
Location: Northampton, NN4 9BD

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager Nights to lead our operations and drive success.

This will be a 6 months secondment / Fixed term contact

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements across the site
• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
• Take proactive approach to ensure housekeeping is managed and maintained to goods manufacturing practice
• Facilitate effective communication - verbally and written
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced, all staff to be briefed with all updates and changes.
• Work in collaboration with Line Manager to ensure all training needs are completed in line with DHL standard
• Effective communication with team and customers (written and verbally)

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Happy to work a Night Shift 18:00 -6:00, 4 on 4 off
• Good analytical and numerical skills (WMS)
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Knowledge in consumer and convenience logistics - desirableResource planning, workload assignment
• Happy to work in a temperature controlled warehouse
• Leadership and management experience in warehouse management - Essential
