Job summary

Integra Resourcing Group is seeking a Secondary Tutor in Wigan with QTS or UK-recognised teaching qualification. You will plan and deliver lessons in English and Maths up to GCSE, tailoring sessions to individual pupil needs. Role offers flexible hours, term-time options, and an immediate start.

Pay is £25–£30 per hour (umbrella/umbrella equivalent). Choose how many hours to work and which days, with 24/7 support from your consultant and regular weekly or monthly pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK national curriculum.
• Tailor lessons to meet individual pupil needs and abilities.
• Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths up to GCSE.
• Previous SEND or SEMH experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons aligned with the UK national curriculum in English and Maths up to GCSE.
• Provide consistent tutoring support to pupils across Wigan and surrounding areas.
• Maintain regular communication with the school and parents as needed.

Due to a significant increase in demand, we are receiving a high volume of tuition requests across Wigan and surrounding areas. This presents a fantastic opportunity for dedicated tutors to make a meaningful impact on students who need additional support.

The Tutor role is a long-term position designed to provide students with consistency and support while actively working to break down barriers to learning.

What are we looking for?

• UK recognised teaching qualification/QTS
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK national curriculum
• Previous SEND or SEMH experience is desirable
• Strong subject knowledge
• Ability to tailor lessons to the individual pupil needs
• Ability to tutor English and Maths up to GCSE
• Enhanced DBS on the update service - or willing to apply
