Job summary

Career Teachers offers flexible secondary teaching opportunities across Leeds and Harrogate. We recruit Subject Specialist Teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term roles in outstanding secondary schools and academy trusts.

We welcome qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS, capable of delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, including long-term placements and potential permanent routes. Weekly PAYE pay and dedicated consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching your specialist subject at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
• Strong classroom management and engaging teaching style.
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4 in multiple schools in Leeds and Harrogate.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support learning.
• Adapt to different school policies and schemes of work.

We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching your specialist subject at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
