About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons within your subject specialism. You’ll be expected to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and collaborate with colleagues to help raise student attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver well-planned and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum
Differentiate instruction to accommodate all learning styles and abilities
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Uphold high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
Contribute to the wider school community and support pupil wellbeing
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching in secondary schools (GCSE experience is desirable)
A subject specialism in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or another secondary subject
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A full 10-year career history with references covering the past two years, including your most recent role
