Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Supply Teacher to work in Leicester secondary schools from September. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, manage student behaviour, and keep learners engaged throughout the day.

This role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with the potential to secure long-term placements for the right candidate. The ideal candidate holds QTS (desirable) with experience in UK secondary schools, strong classroom management, and excellent communication

Qualifications

We are looking to recruit a Supply Teacher to provide general cover across secondary schools in Leicester from September. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning throughout the school day. This Supply Teacher role offers flexible day-to-day assignments with the opportunity to progress into long-term placements for the right Supply Teacher. Whether you are looking to gain experience across different schools or are seeking a route into a longer-term role, this Supply Teacher position offers excellent flexibility and career progression.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) (Desireable but not a necessity)
