Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school in Worcestershire? We are seeking a passionate individual to start immediately and help shape the academic journey of our students.

This role offers an immediate start with a full-time commitment (5 days a week), perfect for someone ready to make an impact in a dynamic and welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging, interactive, and informative lessons for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Tailor your teaching methods to cater to a range of learning styles.
  • Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback that encourages growth. Monitor and track individual and group achievements, supporting students to meet and exceed their academic goals.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment, ensuring students are motivated and supported in their learning journey.
  • Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with other teachers, Heads of Department, and senior leadership to deliver a coherent, structured curriculum. Contribute to the development and enhancement of teaching strategies and school policies.
  • Extracurricular Involvement: Take part in extracurricular activities such as school clubs, trips, and events to support students' personal development outside the classroom.
  • Parental Engagement: Regularly communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns, fostering positive relationships to ensure students receive holistic support.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching at the secondary level, particularly with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, is highly desirable. Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a dedication to fostering academic success and personal growth in young people.
  • Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of the safeguarding process.
