About the Role

We are recruiting enthusiastic and resilient Supply Teachers to cover classes across all key stages and subjects in secondary schools throughout Lancashire. This role offers flexible working – from daily cover to long‑term assignments – allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering planned lessons and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Understanding and implementing strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Supporting the needs of students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Providing tailored support, including 1:1 and 2:1 ratios when required.
  • Experience working with students with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention‑Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is highly valued.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school environment (Key Stages 3‑5).
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and lesson plans.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive practice and supporting students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
  • Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or already hold a valid, transferable one registered with the Update Service).
