Are you a supportive and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of secondary school students with additional learning needs?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. This role provides an excellent opportunity to help pupils with special educational needs access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
As a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and the SENCO to support students with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Your role will involve promoting inclusion, building positive relationships, and helping students engage with their learning in and out of the classroom.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
