A leading educational agency in the UK seeks a dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant in Gateshead. This role requires supervising students, fostering positive relationships, and collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths and experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings. The position is ongoing and full-time, with immediate start available.
Location: Gateshead, Tyne & Wear
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:30–16:00
Contract: Ongoing

Our agency is recruiting on behalf of a SEN secondary school in Gateshead supporting students aged 11–18 with SEMH and additional learning needs. We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students’ academic and personal development. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
